My spiritual motto is from the teachings and writings of Mother Teresa of Calcultta--"Give of your hands to serve and your hearts to love". This motto reflects my multiple roles as a wife, as a mother, as a health care professional, as a woman, as well as my intimate relationship with our Lord.
No statement says all that could be said. No prayer fully expresses our faith. No confession brings perfection. Yet our personal spiritual motto can be a valuable tool in capturing the essence of the beliefs and purpose of an individual or a family or a committee/group.
