Mass will be celebrated on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 7pm, Thursday, August 15, 2013 at St. Joseph's in East Pleasant Plain. This is a holy day of obligation.
It is the Church’s teaching that Mary was taken up to heaven, body and soul because of her being sinless and willing to say yes to God when asked to be the Mother of the Son of God.
